des fleurs

Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today we are talking flowers. Thank you, Jesus, for Pinterest. I would have had absolutely no idea where to even start when it came to bouquets and flower arrangements if it weren't for Pinterest.

There are so many beautiful flowers out there, some more popular than others. I am slowly learning the names and price points of them all. Now I just need to learn where I can find the cheapest peonies and garden roses in Tennessee.

No joke. Flowers are EXPENSIVE.

Lucky for me, I have wonderful friends who have referred me to a wholesale florist here in Nashville, and they seem to have anything and everything I would ever want in the floral department.

But hey, let's dream big (and rich) for this post. Here are some of my dream arrangements.

PEONIES: absolutely gorgeous, by definition (I made that part up). It is a round, substatial, and full flower. The good thing about peonies is that a few go a far way. You don't need hundreds to showcase their beauty, a couple will do the job (my wallet is forever grateful.)

here are some drop dead gorgeous peony bouquets

Don't have the budget to have a full peony bouquet? Don't cry, one or two will do the trick!

a peony boutineierre? duh.

And nothing can top that, folks.

  1. Hey Hannah! I just wanted to say that I think your blog is really great. You do a wonderful job spicing things up every day, and I really admire your creative style. You've inspired me to be more bold when choosing my own outfits! I think your post about the emerald dress is my favorite so far. Keep up the great work!
