Today's challenge played up Pantone's color of the year: emerald green! It is truly such a gorgeous color, but also quite difficult to master. There are so many shades of green that are ALMOST emerald, but not quite. When I initially saw today's challenge was emerald, I was bummed because I don't have ANYthing that comes close to the true shade.
But wait....

Just in case none of you figured it out (or recognized it) this emerald skirt I am wearing is actually my PROM DRESS from my junior year of high school. Hilarious that I even still have it, but I love that I was able to repurpose it by pairing it with a fitted tee and belt.
I honestly never thought I would wear this dress again, but here we are! And it is still the perfect shade of emerald green.
